How much is WordPress hosting for the first year?
The promotional charge is $90 in total for your first 12 months, billed annually. That’s equivalent to $7.50 a month and represents 50% off the regular $180 annual hosting price.
How much will it cost when I renew?
The standard annual rate is currently $180. The $90 offer applies to the first 12 months only. Any revised renewal price will be disclosed in line with our Terms of Service.
Is this hosting suitable for a new WordPress website?
Yes. The plan provides the hosting environment, one-click installation tools, LiteSpeed technology, SSL and business email capabilities suitable for a typical small-business WordPress site.
How many websites can I host?
The advertised entry-level package is intended for one main hosted website/domain. If you need to host multiple separate sites, contact us about a suitable arrangement.
Is the domain name included in the $90?
No. Domain registration is a separate service and is charged independently where needed. You can normally keep a domain registered elsewhere and point it to your hosting account.
Can I use my business email address?
Yes. The hosting service supports email accounts for your domain, subject to normal usage and sending limits. You can also use an independent email service if you prefer.
Does IPWeb update my WordPress site and plugins?
Server-level hosting and security features are included. Routine WordPress content, theme, plugin updates and troubleshooting are separate from the base hosting package unless expressly included in a maintenance agreement.
Will my website be backed up?
Automatic daily off-site backups are included. Backup and restoration cannot be guaranteed in every situation, so we recommend keeping your own independent backups of important website data.
Where is the website hosted?
The offer uses an Australian hosting location. If you have a specific data-residency requirement, please confirm it with us before placing an order.
Can you move my existing website?
We can discuss migration of an existing WordPress website and confirm the scope and any charges before work begins.
